Offshore field developments. What is the Business case, now and in the future?
Atle Rettedal Vice President of Field Evaluation at Statoil identified the business case for low pressure in mature fields with increasing water and gas amounts, he will look at smaller and remote fields in deeper water as well as looking at heavier and more complex oils which are difficult to transport and separate.

Erwin KroemerHow to develop small or stranded offshore assets- what are the main hurdles?
Erwin Kroemer Senior Reservoir Engineering Advisor at ExxonMobil analysed the economics, infrastructure and other factors that impact successful developments. He will give examples of both successful and non-successful approaches to developing small or stranded fields and highlight what needs to change to make small offshore fields more attractive.
